Kingfisher

This lovely kingfisher sat on the rung of this ladder for sometime, did a little fishing and then returned. Such a joy to watch and chat to other ladies with their cameras. It is a busy area for visitors but the kingfisher wasn’t fazed.

Yes, they are spectacular birds. Normally, you just see this flash of iridescent blue shooting across the water. Few photos can capture the sheer magic of seeing one. Excellent.
