Yes, call the ladybirds, but if they do not answer rinsing of with luke warm water and some soap might help too.

Great shot! Dawn dishwashing detergent in a spray bottle! Spray them heavily. Won't hurt the roses, but the bugs don't like it.

As others have said, great shot with fantastic detail, but no fun having the aphids. Take the advice given above (except flamethrower 🤣). I have no advice to give as I'm a rotten gardener.

thank you all for you comments and advice. I have used soapy water in the past so will probably try that again although I have found some organic spray which suppose to be bee friendly!!
