Aphid army on my roses

Now what to do….
Put out a call for ladybirds maybe.
I think soap and water does the trick, but I may be wrong!

You might have some ladybird lavae in the garden, they'll eat them all for you

Wonderful macro

Super clear photo.
Yes, call the ladybirds, but if they do not answer rinsing of with luke warm water and some soap might help too.

Fantastic macro! I thought they were part of the plant at first!

Great shot! Dawn dishwashing detergent in a spray bottle! Spray them heavily. Won't hurt the roses, but the bugs don't like it.

Oh dear. Sorry to see this.

Nice closeup but yucky bugs, good luck getting rid of them

Crikey, maybe even need a flamethrower.

They are a real pain. I know.

As others have said, great shot with fantastic detail, but no fun having the aphids. Take the advice given above (except flamethrower 🤣). I have no advice to give as I'm a rotten gardener.

@mcsiegle @foxes37 @onewing @swchappell @randystreat @marlboromaam @carole_sandford @fbailey @bill_gk @nigelrogers @lizgooster @ludwigsdiana @denful @grammyn @ingrid01 @30pics4jackiesdiamond @g3xbm thank you all for you comments and advice. I have used soapy water in the past so will probably try that again although I have found some organic spray which suppose to be bee friendly!!
