Doune

Doune has taken part in the Clipper Around the World race! She's a primary school teacher and managed to take special leave of absence to take part in the 2000-2001 race. She joined her boat in South America, did the leg to New York, Channel Islands and back to Portsmouth. She was on the winning boat 'Bristol'.

It was so interesting listening to her talking to relatives of current crew members and then chatting to her about her experience.
