Whilst visiting the Matt Black Barn I was fortunate to meet the artists. This is Laura Ford who sculpts in ceramic and textiles. She's currently working on an exhibition to be held in a church in Bruton where she will have works on a theme of horses and Catholic reliquary. When I talked to her she was refining a horse she'd taken out of a mould and I couldn't resist a portrait of her hands!
