Sylvia noted that my photographs this month are all outdoors (well it is 30dayswild!) so challenged me to either do a food shoot for a magazine or a black and white still life.
I've opted for the still life, that could be food magazine-ish, and am fairly pleased with the low key effect of this B&W conversion. If anyone has tips or advice (excluding the use of PShop or Silver FX programs) on how this could be improved am open to suggestions to try out later in the week.
If I am reading the label correctly (Morgenhof) then you have a bottle of South African bubbly there. We are not allowed to call it champagne as the grapes do not come from the French region. It's know as Method Cap Classique (MCC) in South Africa.
Anyhow very nice low key capture
