These are nice Jackie - but - I know this is mad - but the little point and shoot camera I use has a fireworks setting which does amazing things - with no skill from me. I had no idea what I was doing and just kept clicking madly all over the sky - the results were incredible. Weird hey - but if you have a point and shoot you might like to give it a go next time? Cheers Rob

I am the same as Rob. Unless they are the sort that display on the ground close by, I use my little handbag camera - the Olympus compact on its fireworks setting. It seems to do a way better job of it. When I look at the exifs, it has a longer shutter speed than I would have selected. I like the top and bottom left ones especially here.
@casablanca@robz I know!! Who needs a posh DSLR?? But my point and click doesn't have that setting, but I should give it a go as it's such a clever bit of kit! Thank you. @Dawn it was fun playing and experimenting and learning more about camera @selkie thank you, only a little amateur show so fireworks not truly skyfillingly spectacular
Thank you ladies
@merrelyn You need the amazing fireworks too! @jacqbb thank you, for us Brits fireworks will now be no-stop until after new year. Starts for Nov 5th and proceedes through to new year. I feel for the pets and other animals
