This garden statue figures prominently in many of my backyard photos. ( http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2014-04-01) While I was surprised at how quickly he's losing his paint job, I'm quite happy to see how he's evolving into something more beautiful! I noticed recently that people are glorifying rust, so I'm here to join in (at least once!)
Doesn't it feel strange to look for beauty in something that for the most part we try very hard to avoid. Terrific shot with all that texture and the detail.
