Many nights I photograph our dinners, but on this particular evening, I thought it was share-worthy. Born in New Orleans of a mother who was the second generation from there, I grew up loving this food! I hadn't had it in a number of years, but found all the ingredients in the Mexican grocery I recently discovered! I told a friend in Nova Scotia about it, and, from South Africa, she said she grew okra and would love this meal! I have my friends checking to see the availability of okra up there and plan to bring back ingredients to make more of this over the summer months!
You can trust me that this was to-die-for Delicious!
I don't often comment on food pics, but WOW I want this and I want it NOW!!! (just ate a piece of toast with peanut butter and honey and it really seems like I'm ripped off) FAV!
