Alright! Now I know where to send all the peeps that the boys het in their Easter Baskets from their Nana. No one here will touch them and they sit around until they petrify (yes, it takes awhile...) Say the word Louise and they're all Marshmallows! ;)
@pyrrhula Marshmallows are no better for him than for children, but they're not terribly bad! It was on 365 that I read someone else's comment about feeding raccoons marshmallows! I set out cat food for him, and any left-over meat scraps. When he's eaten that, then I hand him treats! The man whop takes care of the house when we're in Nova Scotia *loves* animals, and will enjoy taking over this job!
@gilbertwood@allie912@salza I followed him over top this spot in the hope of getting this photo! He polished off the marshmallow and was following me back to the door of the house for more! I had to resist the terrible temptation to pet that lovely coat! I'm trying to keep common sense in check!
@hbdaly A family that doesn't like Peeps?!!! I know all about petrification...pop them into the microwave! How's that for an air of desperation?! Don't send me the Peeps ... Let me send you a raccoon!
Um, you can keep the raccoon, cute as he is... I will take one of your surplus 'found' kitty cats though. All the cats I've ever had have found me over the years. So I keep waiting for one to find me here - but so far no luck. They must all be in your Lunenburg, not mine! ;)
@hbdaly Our "California feral founds" and not the loving sort that adopt us in Lunenburg! Out here, we've been feeding them daily for years and yet they won't let us touch them! Up North, as I suppose you know, I've never been without "A Summer Kitty", but we always seem to have to start fresh every year! Miss Dinah *almost* came home with us, but she found a forever home just two doors down, so I hope we see her when we return!
