Signs of Life

Only 15 minutes down the winding back-country road from our daughter's place, Ken moved right along past this place, but I quickly rehashed the plans for the day! This might have been a long-ago general store, but now is a berry stand at the entrance to a large ranch. There were no signs of activity (which was a blessing!) as every detail of it's rustic nature was unblemished with cars and tourists that won't likely arrive for another month!

As I was adding my post processing, Ashton was watching over my shoulder. "I want that!" he said enthusiastically! "I want to hang it in my room!" I asked him what it was he liked about it, and he said he liked the flag and "the old bridge".

He's learning how to delight his grandmother!
What a wonderful shot!
