This was supposed to be another wildflower image, but it was photo bombed by this little green metallic bee. His brilliant color had me changing my focus and chasing the little fellows around this patch of Scarlet Globe Mallow. These little pollinators literally wrap themselves around the stamens and crawl around and through to collect pollen. It doesn't take long. The flowers are only about 2 cm and the little bee is about 1 cm. Really best viewed large if you have a moment.
