ect talks too much. i admit that i skipped the video numerous times then getting really impatient i just looked at her finished painting. to my horror, when i started to paint the pots, i found that my greenhouse was too 'large' so i just winged the middle part, but mostly referencing the four paintings before me, as well as my memory of the allen gardens and what they had there. well, what they had there was plenty, even with bamboo but that would be stretching my meagre skills.
the 'tulips outside' - i remember when i was about 5 or 6, my father painted our living room wall to cover us children's doodling. but he taught us how to draw 'tulips' and even at 69 this is how i still draw tulips. i was going to draw a cat but i'm allergic, so i just added the butterflies.
Some of the coolest places I've been have been butterfly houses where there are wonderful tropical plants and butterflied of all kinds fluttering around. This greenhouse makes me think of those places.
@summerfield I too skip through Ellen's videos or turn the sound off. Super result nonetheless. The butterflies are a great addition and puts your mark on the picture.
now i'm off to finish the lighthouse.
The result is terrific.
