St Dunstan's in the East by boxplayer

St Dunstan's in the East

Another trip after work around the fringes of the city to complete the Wenlock and Mandeville blue stroll, with a mad dash up towards Liverpool St to pick up the bits of the yellow stroll I didn't too a few weeks back. Very noticeably, I was seriously running out of light before I'd got to the end. Days shortening already.

In between Monument and the Tower is the very evocative ruins of St Dunstan's in the East, an old Wren church destroyed in the blitz in 1941.

I was there the other day and if you had shifted 3 foot to the left you could have shot the Shard through the window :D

I hadn't realised the walks were named after those weird Olympic mascots!! Great idea though!
