Well my activities may well be limited somewhat since testing positive. I expect there's no reason, if symptoms continue to be mild, I can't go out for a walk locally as long as I don't go inside anywhere or close to others.
Today's theme was about looking after our swifts, martins and swallows. Well we house them every year - swifts nest in our eaves and have been doing so since before we moved in - which is truly miraculous.
I'm so excited that I actually managed to capture one - in the cloud top left, there is the tiny but unmistakeable shape of a soaring, squealing swift. There's probably no way you'll be able to see it ha ha. They truly are a wonder - eating, sleeping and mating on the wing - and only coming to land in their nests when looking after eggs/young.
we have a swift street near us, we went on a notts wildlife talk about it last year in the rain, they didn't appear, although we had an engaging talk about how amazing they are
