Currently sat baking in departures waiting to board. Haven’t flown for a couple of years & quite a lot has changed in that nearly everything is self service! Today we have been, car park attendants, baggage weigh & check in people, Burger King workers ! I hope I don’t have to fly the plane too! 😳
I was quite nervous too when I flew last week. Over three years since & long haul is quite different to short haul. Hope you got there safely! I was surprised we still had to use plastic bags, could have sworn I read they had been stopped….caught me out big time!
What a busy, colourful image. And, Yep - service and reliability is pretty ordinary. Our national carrier Qantas is in a woeful position at the moment - due to a CEO who earned $millions and millions and millions over the past 15 years, destroying the services offered and the reputation of the company. It's very raw over here at the moment - sorry about the rant!
@robz it’s all cost cutting so that they don’t have to employ people following covid etc! The supermarkets want me to be my own cashier too - but as far as I’m aware I’m not employed by them either!
