Berries for Breakfast

Not the best image, taken with my phone from my bedroom window, but I quite liked it.
For some reason the birds rarely eat the rowan berries in the back garden, but today I saw quite a few tucking in. This black bird was in the top branches. The buildings are those of the farm behind us.
A sign of a bad winter to come perhaps!! Hope not……that bird is really tucking in.

He has such a feast here. I thought the same as Pat @happypat My Nanna always used to say if there were lots of berries in autumn we were in for a harsh winter.
