We don't have incendiary fires here. Not at the moment anyway, and as far as I know, never have had seriously destructive fires, thank goodness. The cane fields are sometimes on fire, but these are usually controlled fires, to ease harvesting and get rid of rats.
This is a photograph of a few trees I captured in BW on my phone this afternoon - the foreground tree had bright sunlight on it, the others were in shade.
Then I did some cropping and rotating and contrast adjustment in Lightroom, and added in the flaming fiery environment afterwards with an app I use frequently called Mextures.
Even though the song doesn't address or portray apocalyptic fires, the result still made me think of the song -
I remember the song. I never really listened to the lyrics but always liked the music and rhythm. Now I've read the lyrics. So much deeper thought than expected by just listening to the music. Very appropriate especially now with much of the northern hemisphere "burning" up.
The effect you achieved is perfect for the the song.

Thank you all very much!
