I think this was about the 5th or 6th edit on this before I thought I'd gotten it right and I still see something I'd like to change on it. But it's still my fave for the week.
I chose this one because it is a dedication to my Mom who passed away 7 years ago on March 31st (the day I took the photos). And this April 9th would have marked her 55th birthday.
I guess this one of a Crane Fly. They lok like mosquitoes but giant ones...and I learned so much about them. One commenter said he reminded her of Scrat the squirrel in Ice Age....I think so too!
For centuries my city (Amsterdam) Tunrned it's back to it's main waterway the IJ. But this week the new filmmuseum opened and look! The water has become a lovely part of the city. I'm sure I'll be here often. So that's why this is my favourit picture this week. Happy easter all of you!
As this is my first shot out of my 1970 Mamiya RB67 Pro-S, I am particularly happy with how it came out. It is tough after so many years of digital to have to wait to see if an image came out :)
but i'm also a fan of this one

It is a odd thing for me to have two photos I like in one week. Usually I struggle to find one. I think this one is my favorite of the two I liked.
I just loved his expressions, a happy chappie.
