On the beach

Having a very busy few days so a bit slow to upload at the moment. I am renovating a flat in an historic building at Opua in the Bay of Islands. On the way up we (my sister and I) visited a brother who has just moved to Oakura Beach. This photo is taken on the beach. I am loving the pohutukawas at the moment. This is my sister in the photo. She is much more photogenic than I am!!

The pohutukawa's are just stunning .. and are even better when you see them in their natural enviroment.. all looks like a add for a car here..

@julzmaioro Haha - actually I did quite like the way the red of the pohutukawa picked up the red on the car!

We have a large one in our front yard. It's beautiful. I'd love to return to NZ when they are in bloom. The combination of the red flowers, white sandy beaches and gorgeous blue ocean would be stunning.😀
