I can't believe how far behind I am with uploading and I'm really not too sure why!! I had a busy day last Sunday with my grandson staying and visitors for lunch and dinner. I picked a Michelia flower and brought it inside to snap. I rather like the velvety brown buds.
Even the small brown edges on the older white petals match the greens and browns in the foreground. I really like the way the same tones appear in the background too.
