On Monday morning - for the first time in about 10 years, I went swimming at the local Aquatic Centre. My oldest daughter (who had a kidney transplant in January) now has all lines detached from her body and can SWIM! So great she is able to enjoy a bit of normal life after so long and she organised the swim. This photo was taken just outside when I noticed the rays from the early morning sun coming down through the clouds. I also liked the silhouette of the pohutukawa tree.
Thanks so much for your comments and yes it was a special day. So great to see my daughter enjoying a bit of normal life. It has been a long time coming.
