What would a trip to Queenstown be without sampling the iconic Fergburger!!! Going by the length of the queue at all times day and night, a very desirable commodity. This was about 8:00 pm and we still had to wait 25 minutes after we had placed our order. The next night the queue outside the shop was 20 metres long!!!
@maggiemae Well they do use the freshest of ingredients - even the buns are made in Ferg bakery next door. I must say it tasted good. @eudora Thanks Diane. I think too it was talked about in Lonely Planet, so lots of people have heard about it. Also Ed Sheeran got one sent over to Dunedin I think - and said it was the best burger in the world!!
It's so famous - our girls knew all about it when we did a family trip around the South Island. Crazy busy though - you've caught the impression really well here.
