Big news but I do not think that unexpected - Matt Hancock has resigned. Good.
We should have been having dinner with our friends Sue and Robert this evening but yet another event cancelled. Sue’s Mum sadly passed away a few days ago and so totally understandably they did not feel like coming out for dinner. We had the meal planned so we went ahead with some of it and Colin practiced his excellent lemon sauce to go with salmon. My antipasti was not so interesting - I need to work on ideas a bit more.
Colin spotted this ’number 6’ balloon that had escaped, probably from a child’s party. It made me think of the old 1960’s series ‘The Prisoner’ with Patrick McGoohan - ‘I am not number 6 - I am not a number - I am a free man’!
