3rd January 2023

This morning I went to Tescos to stock up with food to take for my meal that I will be cooking down at Mums this week.

Just after lunch we made our way to Kingston hospital by bus this time as there was a train strike - again. It’s been just over ten days since Colin had his operation and it was finally time for the large bandage to come off and the stitches to come out. We did not have to wait long and I was watching intently as the nurse removed the stitches - it was such a neat job and has healed really well. We got to meet his consultant again afterwards and she was really pleased with the outcome and Colin’s progress. Back again (minus bandage) via bus.

Later in the afternoon I drove Pingado over to his holiday home for a few weeks. I always feel worried but more relieved that he will definitely have fresh food each day.
