Hooray, we’re off for Christmas and New Year ‘Part Deux’ with Mum, Ian, Hester and Brian down in Cornwall. I drove the first section and we tried a different stop for lunch, a little past Hillbrush which has become rather pricey over the past few years. Teals had been recommended by friends and it was very nice with a farm shop but prices to match for food so we stuck to a bowl of soup and a roll which was very good. We drove on and I continued until Hog and Hedge (another favourite stop), this time for coffee and cake. Colin took over and his hand held up nicely for the rest of the journey.
We arrived before Hester and Brian so we had a chance to unpack and catch up before their arrival and our first meeting of their new puppy Luna. She is lovely but very bouncy with a massive character!
