It was bitterly cold but we wanted a bit of a walk and I needed to count cards in Waterstones so we dec idea to walk into Richmond along the river. It was a beautiful day but on route we diverted into Ham House on route for a ‘comfort break’ before continuing our walk and catching sight if a massive rat pottering around a ditch near the river bank.
The sunset was really impressive over the river but I actually thought the lights in Paved Court down the side of our favourite cafe were really pretty - sadly we missed out on tea and cake as we arrived just ten minutes before closing time.
