We drove over to Epsom today to see Elizabeth - Colin’s genealogist again today for the final few points of discussion before she prints out the big family tree. As I take the notes on my lap top, the deal is that Colin buys lunch at our favourite Chessington Garden Centre.
I popped out in the afternoon to pick up a quick meal for the evening and saw this elderly boy waiting patiently in his personal carriage in the entrance to M&S.
Big shock later on when I thought I’d just double check the SumUp payment device that I look after for the Club and is needed this evening. It prompted me - with no option to say no - to install an update which the basically stopped the device from working. I was panicking until I thought of taking my own payment device - my good old iZettle - in replacement. This worked well although I will be slightly out of pocket as I sent the money taken over as a gross payment with no transaction fees deducted that I ill have to pay! I need to get it sorted out soon.
