The sun finally came after a week of cloud, just out as I was heading to town, so I dashed out to grab a shadow shot - and it is a good thing I did because that sunshine was short lived!
Someone knew I wanted to participate in this B&W challenge - and gave me this brief opportunity to do so. Thank you, Lord!
do you think that the municipal people employ the same companies? if i didn't know you're over there, i could swear this is just here in Toronto. nice!

This is part of series of nature trails that was built and is maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers.
It has become a favourite haunt of mine - the light and shadows on the weathered wood is beautiful no matter the season or time of day.
Ah! Here I think the shadow supports the curve of path and fence and all lead nicely into the forest to give so much depth and interest ( such as what lies beyond?). Good textures too and the range of tones from light to dark is just so! Like it a lot! Fav!
