@shannejw @robz Thank you both. I was developing the original photo and considering different possible treatments in the processing when it struck me that the choices were a bit like the choices in life. Not every choice is a clear cut binary, yes/no, go/stay...lots of choices are really choosing between shades of grey (or of brown in this case, I guess). And yet, even choosing between different shades, or different emphasis, can lead to different future outcomes so, pick your door and go through it.

Such an interesting concept Joanne - you could probably apply the idea to photography too - use it as a test to predict the type of image that a person produces on a regular basis...... I know I'd chose the third.....
