A great idea for a photo Pat. @judithg I couldn't believe the difference in how dark it was in London for the jubilee fireworks at the end of the concert compared to how light it was outside in the north of Scotland.
Super, super shot, lovely sky. I hadn't given this a lot of thought, so how short is your dark time on the longest daylight day? That's a bit garbled, had a hard day.
The sad corollary is that there is so little daylight at the other end of the calendar. When in Alaska a few years ago at the summer solstice, it was still light out at midnight!
