Shoe envy!

The most striking thing about yesterdays Graduation Ceremony was the large, varied & fascinating sight of so many stunning shoes.

Because they were clad in black gowns most of the ladies decided to push the boat out in the shoe department.

it was quite fascinating to see the sometimes quite outrageous shoes below each black hemline as they walked across the stage.

I actually heard one of the Physiotherapists say theirs were the best shoes!!

Ha - must have become a thing - blue nails too - all the rage this year apparently. There would be lots of bottle of Port fines for these in Cambridge - strictly black - not sure you could kneel down and get up again safely in these either!!

Oh, so cute! Those shoes are marvelous! Unfortunately, I think I could wear them long enough to try them on. After that they'd sit in my closet. :)

@1977 @peggysirk @jtookey150 @jgpittenger Some were more sensible & wore flats which I preferred but they seemed to be the tall girls. Some could hardly walk in their shoes!

Haven't worn heels since 5 casts in 4 years on my ankles for breaks and sprains while in high school and college. I love to look at them on others though!! Nice catch!

Just had to comment on this photo. Theses are just the type/style/color of shoes that our daughter, Genevieve, practically lives in. When barefoot she is about four inches shorter than I am, but with these, she is taller ; )
