I looked in my bag for the flags we used at the show so I could put them away. By mistake I had left the flask with my coffee remains in the same bag & it had leaked!
I stupidly put the flags in the washing machine, got them out & that is what they looked like on the left , the biggest tangle I have ever seen!
One hour later the result on the right!
I can think of better ways to spend an evening!!
I absolutely love this, and the tale with it. A couple of lessons learned, remember to replace lid securely, and maybe launder inside a pillowcase :))) This has to be a FAV for me, super shots
@cleanfreak I couldn't believe it when I saw them & if they had been plastic would have binned them but they are rather nice material ones so no choice !! Thanks for the unexpected fave Carole ...thought it might give folks a bit of a laugh!!!
@ruthmouch@maggiemae@meisen325 No I won't iron them as they are quite thick materiel & so will just straighten out I think. They are .drying on the Aga. Silly fool me !!
WOW ...what a great shot of life ! It is full of all these little ( sometimes really BIG ) bumps .....look how great you came out of it . I would not have had the patients to stay with this ....good for you !
Makes me smile, Pat ... I can absolutely relate to this today. I threw (accidently) some blacks in with some new white towels today. I can only "shake my head!" :)
Very very funny, haven't we all done something stupid like this!! Think you have enough ironing without ironing little flags!! the warmth will straighten them, hopefully!!
Oh my gosh...what a mess you had on your hands, Pat! This looks like something I would do. :) I must say, you did an amazing job of getting things straightened out! Fun post!!
