I met these two chaps standing watching the festivities in Killorgan today.
I was on the look out for local looking people to tell me where the goat's cage was & happened to see these likely lads.
They were very interesting & we had a long chat about all the ins & outs of goat catching.
I plucked up courage & asked them for a photo which they were very happy to oblige!
I felt like Hazel @quietpurplehaze with her stranger project!
Incidently they had driven for three hours to get there so not so local.
They run the family owned Coopers Hill Equine business in Galway.
Thanks James & Martin for your knowledge & chat.
Thank you fir your comments & sorry I am being a bit erratic with my comments, replying to some but not others depending on how much time I have! Having an early night tonight so catching up a bit!
I can see one of them has a 'stout stick' - for climbing up goat covered mountains. Good for you to ask - its great when they don't mind. Did you find the goat cage?
What a great candid portrait! So appropriate that they are standing in front of the Welcome Inn - that says it all!
