This was my FIL specialty.. would often make it and it's something the kids often talk about.. but I can't make a rice pudding to save myself. Even using his recipe.. rice pudding and stewed apricots ... yummy
Love the colours of the bowl. I shall not show Ray this as he loves rice pudding but I don't. Plus when I try to make it, it ends up all dried up and yuck!
Yummy --delicious -the rice pudding with skin is so delicious -- I used to love going home for my mum's rice pudding made slowly in the Aga Mine never turns out so nice and creamy as my mum's (I blame my cooker !! )
How could anyone not love rice pudding? I must admit this one was a touch to iChat milk in it but was so delicious. I never measure just a tablespoon ful of rice, same if sugar, a bob of butter & slosh some milk in. Into the Aga about 2pm just ready fir tea at 6pm! The only trouble us we fight over the skin!
@quietpurplehaze harry hated the skin too when we got married but loves it as much as me. I used to have it all to myself now we have to share! I think you should definitely buy Ray some rice pudding, there are some very nice ones in the shops. We have some friend B&Bers who own Country Puddings from Penrith, their are delicious!

Well we are all different! And, begging your pardon, for me the skin is the most disgusting part!!!!!
Perhaps I should buy Ray a tin of creamed rice!
