Carbuncle

I walk pass this particular carbuncle fairly regularly. I thought it fitted the bill for shape and/or form for this week's Flash of Red February challenge.

That carbuncle is such a uniform shape it looks as if it has been glued on. What lovely shapes and textures, including the gritty lichen.
