Oh my, what memories you have called up! When hubby and I were courting back in 1992, we camped at Lake Garda and went twice to the Opera Festival in the Arena di Verona. A magical place. It was ridiculously hot when we were there, doubt it is now!! Love this atmospheric moment you have captured.

The title was inspired by the movie (based on the book) that I watched on the plane on my way to Italy.
@casablanca -- Large pieces of previously used opera props are decorating the city now! Perhaps you would recognize the Aida props? It's been more than 25 years since you were there. Time for another visit! I recommend it highly.
