A Mule Deer in Grand Canyon

PS lesson on removing distractions. This one was a challenge because there were deep, dark shadows across the face and I wanted to maintain both natural light and natural hair but of course, compromises had to be made. Practice. Oh, and he was scarily close but behind a fence (just below. at his chest height)

Well I thought it was an elk but Jane says mule deer and she knows more about such things than I do.
