Painted Desert

Day 8: We woke to snow flurries and some reports of snow & construction slow downs along I-40 into Arizona. In places the road was a little icy/slushy but we had no problems. This was my first time towing the camper while it was snowing.

We made a brief stop at the Painted Desert to take a few photos and get some nice, cool fresh air. Then we headed to Homolovi State Park for the evening. All in all a perfect day. Tomorrow we will be at the Grand Canyon... yippie!!!!

Absolutely gorgeous. The Grand Canyon is spectacular, but so is this in a way. I have never seen it with snow. It looks more painted and vibrant than I remember.
