Day 1 of my Grand Canyon Backpacking trip (from February 25th). Some folks have asked about the narrowness of the trail and what happens when mules pass by. You can see from this shot that I am on the canyon wall side of the trail and I chose this spot because it was wide enough for the mule train to pass me safely. This shot was taken with a 24mm lens and the mules were very close to me... you can see that I was at a wide spot on the trail.
Wise choice! My son had similar issues with yaks when he climbed to Everest Base Camp. If you got the wrong side of them, they just knocked you off!! Super composition on this
