Utter surprise to find woods where you live. I assumed the islands were cleared eons ago, and your climate is too severe for new woods to establish.

@ethelperry They are sparse and don't grow very tall. This plantation was a community initiative back in the 1990's but they struggle to survive. There are some larger areas of trees inland away from the salty.
