Washington State cherries by louannwarren

Washington State cherries

We call them Queen Anne cherries, not sure why. They are so delicious; when I pulled this one from the bowl I loved that it was two cherries on one stem.
They could not look more perfect, beautifully captured Lou Ann! A great still life.

I grew up eating these when I lived in Washington This is a beautiful picture of them. I tried to find out why they are named that, but could not find it.
