The centre of town

where parking is an absolute disaster! The streets are lined with cafes, restaurants and bars with the odd boutique and touristy shop.

Stellenbosch not only having one of the largest universities in the county, but also a huge tourist magnet.

The streets are all lined with oak trees which unfortunately do not turn red, just brown and then they fall off.

I never go with the car to an inner city. You have to be very wealthy to pay the parking tickes. I do it by bike.

@louannwarren There is a huge parking lot just outside the centre Lou Ann, but that is mostly full too. Two years ago they built a park deck almost in the center of town, but that costs a fortune. Fortunately the town is small and lovely to walk through :-)
