It was fun watching them take off in the wind. I doubt I would have gone up in that little planewhich had to go over that mountain.
I also feel sorry for all those people living on a very exclusive and expensive estate. The airport is right next to them and especially on weekends, pilots in the making practice their starts and landings non stop.
Lovely shot. The airport was there long long before the estate, so I feel nothing for people who wanted to buy into a development next to the airport that they had to know was there before they bought!
I agree with you about going over the mountains in that tiny little plane! I imagine the people who live there become so used to most of it, that they hardly hear any of it.
Too bad about the homes next to the airport- but it's kind of like people who buy a house next to a school and then are surprised to hear children playing in the yard all day long. But I wonder if they get so used to hearing them, they don't hear them anymore. We lived in an apartment next to train tracks and we got so used to hearing the train whistle we'd sleep right through it at night. Anyway...! Good shot and nice editing. It really looks rainy!
@grammyn@olivetreeann It is the most expensive golf club and estate probably in the Western Cape. I too suppose that one can get used to anything for the sake of prestige ;-)
