Just too far away

so frustrating when one sees them flitting around and they settle on the other side of where you are. My 300mm just does not have the reach.

They are so fast, one just sees a flash of colour. Then the stalking starts, where has it settled! I was rather frustrated on wednesday as I would have loved a diffrent close up too.
