Where we were staying the other night at this little country hotel with the lovely four poster bed and the dirty windows, there was a lagoon I had never visited. It proved too far away across fields to see but this lagoon type canal was right by the farm road. I spied two black swans in this and crept up to where they were. Unfortunately they were not used to people and glided away quickly. A flock of ducks took to the air and disappeared quacking loudly so I was left with just this scene.
