John hoped to get his Mac Velocette going by the time this rally was on but the needed parts did not arrive by courier as planned. It was a cold and damp morning but these guys were well rugged up. Every bike had a kick start and made individual roaring sounds when they took off! I didn't see one guy under 50 here!
John has a LE Velocette like the one closest but as yet it hasn't been touched for renovation. It was known as the Noddy Bike as when used within Army Camps, it was impossible for the rider to salute the senior officers. They accepted a nod instead!

That guy has an itch down his back ..... lucky boys to have such a sociable & fun hobby,they must have great camaraderie, hope John is soon with them!!
