Appealing to me

This is our home taken from a long way away on an opposite hill to this one. It appeals to me in this photo as it appears to be in front of a huge lot of trees! I think these trees are also absolutely miles away! It is amazing what the camera sees that the eye doesn't behold!

The window you see here is our kitchen window where I look out on a valley and the view down the valley to the sea. Just imagine me creating crayfish a la muniere here! It will be all in your imagination because crayfish is SO expensive!

I love the shimmering effect you have also created, the sort you get with distances and yes, those trees behind the house look quite close.

Massive of roof area you have maggiemae & I love this sepia watery shimmer you have achieved here ....a lovely large kitchen window indeed & sounds a great place to live. I like your green hill behind with the bush behind you even if it's not directly behind there is nothing between!!

Ps. Can't believe how many 'behinds' I have there...moral always read what you post first!!!

@happypat only two, Pat and that is immaterial! Part to the roof is the large garage we have where John is just starting to get down to rebuilding two old motorbikes at the age of nearly 79! I don't mind - its better than playing on the iPhone!

An interesting view, but the tones work well. From how you described it, it really does give you a different perspective.

@maggiemae Oh definitely maggiemae , you don't want a man hanging about the house all day better busy in the garage!!! He will be a happy man in there!!

Looks a lovely house. Pity about that crayfish!

The colours make it look like a photo of many years ago.

It's all in the perspective! I like how you processed this.

I like the shimmery look. This is like a visual image to me---like the shimmery look means that you are thinking about your house. Hope I am describing this clearly enough.

@daisy Yes, Kathryn - actually the shimmery look came from out of focus on extreme zoom! Its not a top camera! However I go with whatever and what you say is lovely!
