The really sweet little fantails often come into the house about this time - nobody really knows why! An old story relates the spirit of a recently deceased family person has come in! Not with me - there have been too many fantails inside and no deaths! Another theory is getting spiders in the corners. The theory I like the best is that this particular bird loves human interaction!

He flew in a window , got the camera eye then out that window that you see there! Poor wee bird -- seemed to be panting!
What a lovely story. They do look like very sweet visitors

How strange maggiemae......good that it found it's way out again. I like the spider theory best!!! A good way of shifting the blighters!!

Darling capture. My grandmother was really terrified when birds came into the house due to thinking that this meant someone would die. I think you were blessed by this sweet bird's visit.

What a great catch! It's so neat they fly into the house. Perhaps you should put some food down for him. Cute little bird. And well captured. Nice job.

@prttblues They fly in and then they fly out which we try to encourage, Bev! Our cat is too too interested and gets that evil look in her eye!
