Speed record.

This is John getting his photo taken inside the cockpit of the electric car that is being built by engineering students at Christchurch university. Designed for a speed record, not racing. Its going to have reflections on Burt Munro designed on to it.

Wow how on earth did he get in there….it looks mighty uncomfortable…a tin opener comes to mind! It will be amazing when finished though with logos in place.

@happypat Yes it is to be painted with Burt's colours and a picture of him somewhere. And John had to be helped out of this cockpit!

@grammyn In was fine even with his long legs, Katy. But getting out was really difficult and he really needed a strong arm. Most of these students didn't have strong arms!
