Sunshine and shadows on the road home...

I really don't expect anyone to comment on these - unless you just want to do so. I'm backfilling some holes in this album. Just scroll on by. =)

Rendered in Pixel Bender's oil paint option and Photoshop's Texturizer.
Hmmm... done with the texture setting or is there a texture filter? Nice effect on this shot Maggie.

@kvphoto This was all done in Photoshop CS5 with Pixel Bender filter and texture in the PS filter gallery. They are so old! LOL! Like me.

@marlboromaam no worries... I'm guessing the oil paint feature in PS CC is similar... it seems Pixerl Bender has a loyal following but upon a quick search it isn't available for CC version. I used to have CS5... it was the last version of the software I bought where I got a physical copy to install on my Mac... eventually the newer Macs didn't want to run the older software. Oh well.

The effect on the road is amazing.

@kvphoto I think the oil paint feature is in the newer versions of Photoshop, but the Pixel Bender plugin is not. The texture I used to make it look more like a painting is Craquelure in Photoshop's filter gallery. Not sure if it's in the newer versions of Photoshop or not. And no, I'm not even sure you can run stand alone versions of Adobe software now. Can you?

@dutchothotmailcom Thank you, Esther!

I *like* it! I've often been struck by this view, but the few times I've tried to capture it, I've been disappointed. Well done!
